The device can scan and print at the same time, as well. The MX7600 features an automatic document feeder (ADF) and can handle auto-duplex (two-sided) and two-way paper feeding. The printer can output up to 28 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 23 ppm color. A “clear” ink is used to initially cover the print surface, which lets the pigment bond to produce better-looking graphics without causing plain paper to wrinkle or get oversaturated, according to Canon.
